Fight For The Forgotten: Empowering The Voiceless Indigenous Communities In The Congo Rainforest Fight For The Forgotten: How A Mixed Martial Artist Stopped Fighting For Himself And Started Fighting For Others

Deep within the dense and unforgiving landscapes of the Congo Rainforest lies an epic battle, a fight that transcends mere physical warfare. It's a fight for the forgotten, a relentless pursuit of justice, empowerment, and transformation. Welcome to the extraordinary world of Fight For The Forgotten, where resilience and compassion collide.

The Genesis of Fight For The Forgotten

The journey of Fight For The Forgotten started with one man and a dream. Justin Wren, a former professional mixed martial artist, witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by the indigenous Mbuti Pygmy people living in the forgotten regions of the Congo Rainforest. He was captivated by their resilience, love, and the profound lack of basic rights they endured.

Determined to make a difference, Wren left behind his career in the ring and dedicated his life to this audacious cause. His mission was simple yet ambitious - to bring transformation and hope to the voiceless indigenous communities who had been marginalized and exploited for decades.

The Battle Against Injustice

The indigenous Mbuti Pygmy people have long been subjected to brutal treatment, violence, and extreme poverty. Denied access to clean water, education, and healthcare, their lives have been marred by unrelenting suffering. Fight For The Forgotten steps into this unjust reality, determined to dismantle the chains of oppression and restore dignity.

One of the most powerful weapons in this battle is the provision of clean water wells. These wells serve as a lifeline for the Mbuti Pygmies, providing access to clean drinking water and reducing the spread of disease. Beyond the practical advantages, these wells symbolize hope, resilience, and the realization that they are no longer forgotten.

Education and vocational training initiatives play a vital role, empowering the indigenous communities to craft a brighter future. The Fight For The Forgotten team has established schools, training centers, and farming projects that foster self-sufficiency and provide sustainable means of livelihood.

From Forgotten to Empowered

Life-changing initiatives spearheaded by Fight For The Forgotten range from anti-trafficking efforts to the creation of a sustainable agriculture system in the region. By engaging with various stakeholders, both governmental and non-governmental, the organization aims to develop a comprehensive platform for change.

The immense success and impact of Fight For The Forgotten can be seen in the incredible transformation experienced by the Mbuti Pygmy people. No longer invisible, they are now empowered to assert their rights, cultivate their lands, and build a future filled with endless possibilities.

Celebrating Triumphs and Inspiring Change

Over the years, countless success stories have emerged from the work of Fight For The Forgotten. Young children who once suffered from malnutrition and disease are now attending school and dreaming of becoming doctors, teachers, and leaders.

Women, who were once silenced and marginalized, have found their voices and are now active participants in community decision-making processes. Their stories serve as a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and collaborative efforts to instigate change.

From notable mixed martial artist and UFC fighter Justin Wren comes a personal account of faith, redemption, empowerment, and overwhelming love as one man sets out on an international mission to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves.

Justin knows what it feels like to be wronged. Bullied as a child, he dreamed of becoming a UFC fighter and used his anger as fuel to propel his dream into reality. But the pain from his childhood didn’t dissipate. Instead, Justin fell into a spiral of depression and addiction, leading him on a path toward destruction. Kicked out of his training community and with no other place to go, Justin agreed to attend a men’s retreat, and it was there he found God.

As Justin began piecing his life back together, he joined several international mission trips that opened his eyes and his heart to a world filled with suffering deep in the jungle of the Democratic Republic of Congo. There he met the Mbuti Pygmy tribe, a group of people persecuted by neighboring tribes and forced into slavery. His encounter with the Pygmy tribe left him wondering who was there to help them and in that moment Justin stepped out of the ring and into a fight for the forgotten.

From cage fighter to freedom fighter, Justin’s story is a deeply personal memoir with a bigger message about a quest, justice, and the amazing things that can happen when we relinquish our lives to God.
