As quilters and anyone coming into contact with quilters already know, quilts are a joy, a hug and love in fabric form. We quilt not just for ourselves, but to share that love and joy with others. The stories in this book are an extension to this and all have been written by members of UK Quilters United (UKQU). To create some structure, the stories have been grouped into four sections. The first section is about the UK Quilters United Facebook group and the website. In the second and third sections our members share their quilting journeys, highlighting how quilting has been a great support through sometimes rather challenging times. The fourth section include stories on how quilting has changed their lives; be it starting a business, changing lifestyle or travelling the world. Finally, at the end there is some suggested further reading.
Our first book 'UK Quilters United by a common thread', was edited by Julie Passey and was published in 2016. You can find it on Amazon as eBook and paperback.
