~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Charlie (my son) has never liked hats. Maybe the 20 or so I designed for him in his first year of life put him off, or maybe he simply doesn’t enjoy a warm head. Whatever the case, I’ve never been able to keep a hat on this kid…..
Until now. By his special request, a couple Truck Hauler Hats found their way onto my hook and needles a few weeks back. Since then, Charlie’s head has been warm and he puts his hat on with a smile on his face. Ahhh! The sweet relief of knowing my child is warm without a fight!
If you have a boy like Charlie in your life, and are looking for the perfect pattern to keep his head warm, look no farther! This knit design will get you all set up to make any little guy (from Newborn through 10 years) the hat of his dreams!
Pattern Includes Sizes:
Newborn
0-3 Months
3-6 Months
This is an intermediate level design due to the color-work, which you do need to have knowledge of. This pattern calls for bulky (5) weight yarn and size 5.5mm (US9) double pointed knitting needles (or use the Magic Loop Method). It is worked in the round from the bottom-up. I am always available to answer any questions you might have. You can contact me at melody@melodys-makings.com.
You are allowed to sell finished products made using this pattern. Do not re-distribute the pattern itself. Please leave a link to my site in your product listing:
