Bali is a lovely Island located off the coast of Indonesia. It is a major tourist attraction and hub for fun seekers. The island also boasts of some of the best and most affordable living conditions for many digital nomads and tourists alike to thrive.
This location was selected for review based on key factors, ranging from availability of Co-working spaces, prices of accommodation, transport, feeding, lifestyle and Internet connection capacities.

Affordable Accommodation
The rates for accommodation in Bali is remarkably cheap. You can get a stay in a good hotel from $20-$30 a night, with some places even cheaper. Since Bali has been a top tourist destination for many years now, hotel services have seen major upgrades, as a lot of them offer standard services to suit the unique tastes of visitors from many different countries.
Prices of food in these hotels are cheap also, with many digital nomads reporting $1-$5 for satisfying meals off the hotel menu. You may also consider trying out some other special services like getting a massage or spa treatment for as little as $5-$10 for a session, with discounted rates for repeat customers. Most of these hotels even have large outdoor swimming pools.
Most hotels in Bali offer free Wi-Fi services to guests, with a fast and reliable internet connection of ~512kb to 2MB per second on the average, which is very important for digital nomads like yourself to stay in touch with your clients on the go.

Getting around in Bali
The most important aspect of a digital nomad's career is location-independent, remote work. This also translates to being able to move around freely within the current location at affordable rates. Transport in Bali is relatively cheaper compared to the other popular digital nomad hotspots around the world. The cheapest way to commute is using an Uber service which would cost you much cheaper than using a Taxi, depending on the distance your trip would cover.
Alternatively, you could hire a car via rental services as a more comfortable option to allow you get anywhere more quickly. It would cost you $18-$30 to get decent, comfortable vehicles to meet all your transport needs. Although less common with the Digital nomad community in Bali, another way you can transport with is using bikes. This would cost you anywhere between $10-25 depending on the rental company or individual. Also, bear in mind that if your international driving license does not include the use of bikes, you would need to obtain a 3-month local license from the authorities to enable you to use one.
